Austin Tong
Austin Tong grew up in Cupertino, California. He has been attending Wushu Central since he was four years old. Austin worked his way up from Little Heroes to his fifth-degree black belt by the time he was 13. The discipline, passion, and fun he experienced earned him a job offer to become a coach at Wushu Central. He enjoys working with kids and making each of their experiences the best possible at Wushu Central. Austin hopes to inspire them to always do their best in life the same way his coaches did for him.
Aside from martial arts, Austin is a filmmaker. He directs, writes, produces, and shoots short films, recap videos, promotional videos, music videos, and more. Performing arts is where his passions lie, including his love for singing, playing guitar and piano, film, photography, dancing, acting, fashion, and martial arts. Over the summer he was accepted into USC's Directing and Producing class with Walt Disney Studios where he had the opportunity to receive in-depth teaching from those who do the work professionally.
Austin attends DePaul University pursuing his passion for film and television production.
