Kayvon Imanverdi
My name is Kayvon Imanverdi, a student and also an instructor here at Wushu Central Martial Arts Academy. I began attending classes at Wushu Central back in 2008. I started off with Little Heroes and now I am joining the Wushu Advanced classes striving to enhance my Wushu knowledge and education to the next level. My father has done Martial Arts his whole life and we enrolled at Wushu Central at the same time. He is now a 5th Degree Black Belt and is an inspiration to me to continue doing my best. On weekends when my father is free, we practice Wushu together to keep our skills sharp. I took a few years off of Wushu from 2014-2018. When I resumed I was glad to be back. I became an instructor not only to improve my own skills, but also to help others who participate in this incredible martial art grow and learn Wushu. My instructors from the very beginning taught me how to think critically and logically using Wushu as a foundation. I love helping others achieve what they thought they couldn’t and watching the growth of our students. Wushu has changed my life for the better in every way. It has helped me gain character and skills both physical and mental such as:
- Perseverance
- Focus
- Fitness
- Respect
- Discipline
- Diligence
- Determination
- And most importantly, Self-Confidence
