Passionate Teachers. Lifelong Role Models.
At Wushu Central, we believe the key to transforming children into successful adults lies not only in what we teach but in who teaches it. That’s why our instructors are the heart of everything we do.
Take Samrit Mathur, for example. When Samrit joined us at age 7, he was shy, uncoordinated, and unsure of himself. With the guidance and encouragement of our instructors, Samrit grew to become one of our most accomplished students—and eventually, an instructor himself. Samrit poured his passion for martial arts into helping kids like him build confidence, discipline, and grit. Today, Samrit is a graduate of Dartmouth University and a successful investment analyst, but he credits his time teaching at Wushu Central as one of the most fulfilling experiences of his life.
Another shining star is Coach Kayvon Imanverdi, the Head Instructor of Kung Fu Kids Pleasanton. Coach Kayvon is a amazing martial artist whose skills and dedication inspire students every day. His classes are a perfect blend of discipline, energy, and fun, making martial arts a rewarding experience for kids of all ages. Coach Kayvon’s ability to connect with students on a personal level ensures that every child feels seen and valued while being challenged to grow.
What makes our instructors truly special is their unwavering commitment to each child’s growth. They don’t just teach techniques—they build confidence, nurture resilience, and foster a love for learning. Whether it’s a shy 5-year-old taking their first steps on the mat or a teen preparing for a black belt test, our instructors are there every step of the way.
